Book Study Expectations

For the next month, you are going to create a Wacky Wesearch report on an animal with unique adaptations. Each night, on your Reading Homework Log, a question will be posted on the blog. You will need to answer the question in paragraph form (4-5 sentences). When you are finished, you should read other classmates' "wesearch", too.

You will be graded on a 4-point scale for each post. I will not only be grading the content you share about your animal, but also grammar. If you do not complete an assignment, you will lose 10 points each day until it is completed. All assignments must be completed by 8:00am the following day, or it is late! It is your responsibility to ensure each assignment is completed to your best ability!

When your "Wacky Wesearch" is done, you will create a final product to share with the class about your animal. Your product can be in the form of a children's book, ABC book, diorama, podcast, photostory, reader's theatre, puppet show, or another idea of your choice. If you choose to do something other than an idea mentioned above, you will need to get approval.

You will receive grades for the "Wacky Wesearch" project in Reading, Writing, Speech, and Science.
